Well, the interesting thing he said in the post-match press conference was that he's in favour of the hydration breaks, which is a pretty rare take from what I've seen.

I actually agree on the break and just the hydration aspect and going again.
I mean, in very basic terms, like you say, this has been a good World Cup so far.
If we keep on having hydration breaks and all the games are really good, there is a bit of a pattern there.

modern football teams are so coached and so prescribed.

But I do take your point because, I mean, to go back to the Sweden-Netherlands game, if there hadn't been a hydration break,
sweden hadn't changed system maybe netherlands would have i mean they did walk it in the end but sweden had two really good spells of pressure so i'm not as anti them as as some people and i must say i'd take i'd take this over this practice of goalkeepers pretending to go down and there's a timeout and that kind of thing so they seem hugely unpopular uh from people i've spoken to but i'm a little bit more on the fence you and ralph brennick are in favor
To be honest, I've really enjoyed the whole tournament so far.
I think both, you know, almost at the bottom level, the sides we thought were outsiders and underdogs have, by and large, coped really well.
And at the top level, I don't think we can say that there's any great teams yet, but obviously all the big players have stepped up, or most of the big players have.
No, there's nothing that's annoying.
I've really enjoyed it, to be honest.
There's been so many games, because it's four games a day.
