Uh, so it gives Claire a really good chance of winning, but do they want to be, and I'm not saying, you know, I think Limerick do want to be in the Munster final.
Uh, I think Cork probably do.
I'm not so sure Claire do.
Why?
Maybe I'm wrong.
I, I, I, I, I just think the age profile of the team, I think, um, another hard match against Cork or Limerick, uh,
mightn't be what they need and I think that's that has been a factor the last couple of years I think Limerick and Cork playing each other so many times has been a factor maybe in their demise later in the year because they are seriously physical matches you know the size of these players and I don't like talking like this because a Munster final and a Munster championship is a huge thing and Clare haven't won that many most of these the Limerick lads have won a few now obviously and the Cork lads have a couple but
I just think it's, I don't know where, I don't know, you can't train that, you can't coach that, you've got to go out and try to win, but in the back of somebody's head somewhere, is finishing third in Munster, in their mind, you're playing the second team in Leinster, then is that giving you, and then you get a couple of matches.
It's an awful long break as well from, I was just looking at the dates, I think the All-Ireland Semi-Finals are the 4th and 5th of July, and this Sunday is the 24th or 5th of May, whatever it is.
Like, you're a long time on the sideline then after having all these matches.
Whereas that quarterfinal is a nice gap.
You know, you play that match, you get on your back.
If you win it, then you're coming in form instead of sitting waiting in the semifinal.
I very much go along with what you said there.
If anyone could do it, he could do it.
You know, he'd be cool enough to try it.
He has that skill set.
And I felt sorry for some of the lads because, you know, you've got Ray Vine that does the stats.
