Do you know what I always fancied, like when I retire, is being like a groundsman at a school where you just get all the pitches ready for football and rugby and all that stuff.
It would be very calming.
But you're around...
you know, children and learning and all that stuff.
It was so much like interesting.
We used to have this old groundsman called Barry.
And I remember my mate Rifty had a ring and you weren't allowed to wear rings at school, couldn't go off his finger.
So we went to Barry.
He has this little gardener's hut and he hacksawed his ring off his finger, Rifty's finger, you know.
So he was just like this little old guy who would help the kids out.
You know, if you were going to get in trouble, he'd be like, come here, don't worry, I'll let you out.
I just think, I want this guy's job.
