For a public servant who has not just dedicated their life, but often risks that life on behalf of his fellow Americans, to have that privilege ripped from him for a petty and political reason is at times, frankly, too much to bear.
Quite a few, because the only thing I see is chaos and horror.
This is the sort of scene, these pans across the city landscape with forces launching chemical agents, throwing flashbangs.
This is the sort of scene that if we saw happening in a foreign country, a majority of Americans would be up in arms at the humanitarian crisis and demanding we provide some sort of assistance.
In fact, the White House itself has been doing that with respect to Iranian protests.
This is not what American law enforcement is supposed to be.
It is not what they're supposed to be doing.
And I, frankly, as somebody who worked in this field and follows the news incredibly closely and spends his life writing and commenting about law enforcement and national security issues, genuinely have no idea why they are even in Minneapolis.
The chaos, the crime, the terror, it is being caused by ICE.
