Turning back to me, the man looked solemn.

From the outside, just watching the monitor, it didn't seem that different than what I had been watching for the past three years.
Rachel slept, she watched TV, she read, and she painted.
But there were signs if you were looking for them.
She seemed tired and tense, and she had taken to sleeping more.
And occasionally, just every once in a while, she would glance up at the camera.
