And I would point out too, there were a group of House members, a pretty big group of House members, led by Ilhan Omar, but also Pramila Jayapal, who were in Minneapolis, I think either last weekend or the weekend before, who've been trying to go, who've been trying to make the point that
people need to see what's going on here and people need to to be present here i don't know look i mean the reality of it is it's it's seven democrats i think that they need uh to um to pass this bill it doesn't seem like the will is there right now so i think the thing for them to do on the hill right now talk really seriously what is they want what it is they need to see what concessions they need to put in sorry what guard rails they need what concessions they need from republicans
The tricky thing is the Senate is here this week, but the House is not.
So anything that the Senate decides is going to go back to the House, and we're going to have a little ping-ponging and back and forth.
But I think one other aspect of this that I just want to point out that I don't think is being mentioned is – and I know I'm realizing I'm talking a lot here, but the so-called Big Beautiful Bill gave us massive windfall of money to ICE.
I mean, millions of dollars that they didn't have before.
Billions of dollars.
