They went to law school together and he been installed as Secretary of the Army in a non military position.
And uh he was
Very close to army leaders like General Randy George, who was ousted from his post as chief of staff and some others.
And uh there was a period of time and when um Driscoll was even uh speculated about as a potential
successor for Hagseth.
Hagseth basically forced him out.
It was a big deal because it was about more than Driscoll.

Which is to say he's postured himself as somebody who's fighting wokeness in the ranks of the military, a greatly exaggerated problem by most accounts.
The Pentagon has
acknowledge that there's a big problem because what Ukraine has shown is that you can spend an exorbitant amount of munitions in a short period of time.
And you can imagine if you get yourself in a big war with China or Russia, what the requirements would be in Iran
