And at the bottom of the bed is Queen Edith, Harold's sister, kind of weeping at the bottom of the bed because Edward's obviously going to pass away.

And I love the fact that in the book that Edith herself commissioned, The Vetoed Ward is Regis, The Life of King Edward, she talks about this exact scene as well.

And she kind of mentions what is going on.

And she said it's then when Edward the Confessor, as he's just about to keel over, you know, touches hands with Harold and says, you know, will you look after your sister, i.e.

the Queen?

And then will you also look after the kingdom?

And I just love the idea that then Harold is thinking, yes, this is my Andy Burnham type moment when I will take over the country.

And it's going to be great ever since afterwards.

Maybe that's not a good moral to end on, is it?

But anyway, I mean, at least he might be prime minister for nine months, I guess.

Oh yeah, of course.

Well, the key thing, I suppose, is I hope people like the exhibition because obviously it'll be a bit of a tragedy if people come along and say, oh, I didn't really go for that.

I wasn't really inspired by the Bear Tapestry.

I mean, to be honest, I think we could have almost put the tapestry out without an interpretation and people would be wowed by seeing this object.

Hopefully it's going to be a much better experience than that.

But in some ways, the tapestry does speak for itself.

But yeah, in terms of the kind of my hope, I mean, I hope that people will be talking about seeing the tapestry for many, many years.

And it would also encourage them to go off and kind of read more, learn more about 1066.

I hope that they will have a better appreciation of how 1066 impacted this country.
