Why?
For me, a critical, critical part of process, it goes back to writing a senior thesis at Princeton.
Everything needs to pass through multiple cycles of source material, through my brain, through my fingers, onto a keyboard, and recycle back through about three times.

Today, though, it's more likely an SF apartment or a coffee shop or a hacker house.
