and shape the world that we live in and how to make sense of the world that we live in.
Michael has also founded the Mosaic Multicultural Foundation, which endeavours to bring healing and cultural connection through story, ritual and the imaginative community building.
He hosts a weekly podcast called Living Myth, where he converses about mythical themes in our cultural areas.
and continues to teach lead retreats and other programmes in the mythic literacy, as well as helping people see the deeper stories they live by and how to rewrite them.
Now, Michael's work is rooted in the conviction that each person has a soulful seed or mythical call, a unique story that they're meant to live, and that much of our suffering tends to come from betrayal or suppression or denial, indeed, of that inner naming or the inner calling.
And through story and careful listening, he helps to awaken in you what has been dormant probably for some time or overshadowed.
So in this interview, you're going to learn how he bridges the ancient stories, which are wonderful, and the modern, and how ritual, even small ones, can overshadow.
open these spiritual parts to us and how myth can even offer more than a metaphor.
It can also, you can also learn how it can be medicine as well, medicine for the soul.
So I do hope that you enjoy this.
It's a real honour and a privilege to have interviewed him.
I think we could have definitely spoken for longer.
So I hope you enjoy what we've recorded.
