Heck yeah.
Well, I'm sure some people waste money and time writing books.
Look, this is my sixth book, and I am not writing another one.
No.
Although I've said that for the last four, I've said, punch me in the eye if I say I'm going to write another one.
But in all seriousness, I think often people ask me, what's the biggest mistake you've made in your journey?
And I would say it's writing too many books.
The first book I wrote came out in 2006.
Book Yourself Solid was a huge hit.
About a half a million.
Okay.
And that book sells regularly.
It drives a lot of business to our licensing program for our consultants and coaches, for our mentoring programs.
And the books that I wrote after that, I wrote in such frequent, in succession so frequently that I just couldn't promote them.
My second book came out in 2008, and my third book came out in 2008.
My fourth came out in 2010, then the fifth in 2012.
So the thing about a book is that if you're in the kind of businesses that we're in, you're using that book to create awareness.
So it is a marketing tool.
Fortunately, I get paid nicely by the publishers to write them.
But those advances are just that, advances against royalties.
