I truly believe that he didn't do his homework before writing that one-sided, very one-sided story.

In 2021, Governor Gavin Newsom ordered an independent investigation into the Cooper case.

It was set up to examine his trial, his appeals, and quote, all available evidence, including DNA tests, done after the trial.

The special counsel released a report in 2023 rejecting Cooper's claims of innocence.
