If you don't have decent enough data to support a model, right, a model that is accurate to a degree that we need to specify, then you're not going to get anywhere, right?
There's no magic potion.
There's no snake oil, right?

And if it's not predictive enough, you're never going to be able to build a model that is predictive enough.
So you're absolutely right.
Some do.
It's actually surprising
how few, especially when you're not in only the enterprise.
From mid-sized companies down, the non-exclusivity isn't too much of an issue.
They might just want you to not work with their exact competitor or something.
It's not too big of a deal.
All these companies know that they're all doing the same thing.
You do a project for a pharma company, and within three weeks, you hear from all their competitors.
