We b we began, um, about I would say four or five months ago, began developing, you know, our programs what we felt like v the resource would provide to the athletes and to the franchise community, 'cause I think it's both ways.
And um and I I guess the core um behind our business professional athlete franchise initiative is advocating in both directions.
We're um advocating the franchise the value of the franchise industry to the professional athlete community.
And on the other side of things, we're advocating the value of a well educated um and groomed um athlete franchisee to the franchise or community.
because I think that, you know, when you when you really um spend some time educating these guys and getting them prepared and managing expectations
Um, you know, you've got a group of guys who are one, retiring at a young age, twenty eight years old on average.
um, have a little bit of expendable money so financing isn't uh as big of an issue even though still is.
Um you have a diverse group.
Um you know, sports represents a a very diverse background so you can really um open up some diversity um um outlets.
And and at the end of the day you have a group that has a little bit of um PR um strength coming from their past careers.
So I think that these athletes can be a great wave of um next level franchise franchisees and that's what we're advocating to the franchise or community.
So our whole goal, um, and with our with our initiative is to be the bridge or the platform to where these connections are made, to where these um to where education happens, to where interaction happens, and and and and at the end of the day over the next, you know, two um two to three years we want to start developing ourselves
as um as the entity that's cre we're creating a new wave of athlete franchisee.
Exactly, exactly.
And I think and one thing we are working on as we speak is um our alliance partners.
We're gonna um provide um a resource to the MLB players associations and uh and alumni associations along with the NFL, NHL and MBA.
We're we're we're our goal this year is to develop and finalize these partnerships so we become that resource for those guys in helping our athletes transition because at the end of the day
If an athlete doesn't transition well, it's very bad for the athlete, but it's also bad for the league.
you know, when you have, you know, a um a group of, you know, athletes retiring at the age of twenty eight
um and and a ref as a reflection of the brand.
