Mayor, Vice Mayor, everybody else on the commission.
My name is John Garati.
I'm a proud resident of the town of Southwest Ranches.
Hope I'm not creating a crazy echo.
Um I've I've addressed the Broward County Commission a couple of times, but I'm gonna do it with a little bit of layman's terms.
Have you guys ever watched the movie Ediocracy?
I think I mentioned this once prior.
Go home, when you guys get a minute, watch that movie.
There's some A-list actors in that movie, and it and it has to do a little bit with garbage.
Now, on to this.
We're we're voting on increasing walls uh the size of the landfill, the height, right?
So if we do that, what sort of a message are we sending to all the elementary school kids and everybody else that has to deal with this for the next forty, fifty years?
We established the solid waste authority to make a master plan for the next forty years.
So
W we we have to either do what we're doing for the past fifty years, which is absolutely the wrong idea, right?
