And what I want to say today is it's always about the same thing.
And the tactics never change.
And the objective never changes.
The only thing that changes, Steve, is us.
we are afflicted right now by something that historians call presentism, which is we judge the actions of the past by the standards of the present.
So it's very easy to condemn our ancestors for whatever crimes we wish to put at their feet since they're not around to defend themselves.
