When he was the governor, he
He vetoed six different tax cuts and he made it very clear that he would have voted against the one big beautiful bill.
So he's always going to support tax increases.
He's always going to want to tax and spend your money.
Right.
I'm going to always fight to make sure that we're going to bring those costs down.
You know, you mentioned housing, right?
So just today, we've got Secretary Scott Turner, Secretary of Housing and Urban Development coming into Charlotte, North Carolina.
And we're going to have a roundtable where we're going to be focusing on bringing down housing costs and making sure that we have houses that are going to be available.
It's really hard.
for you to set up and live the American dream when you can't get married and buy a house and raise a family.
And so what we want to do is have a honest conversation with the secretary along with, you know, real estate developers and lenders and construction folks about what is it going to take for us to be able to build more homes and bring down those prices.
We need to bring interest rates down, right?
President Trump has been fighting on that a lot.
