We came from a school that – let's say a town that bred this type of people.

But I remember at the time – there we go with the thing again.

At the time –

You know, the draft was over for Vietnam.

I was born, I'm too young for that.

But it, you know, it dawned on me when I was about 20, I'd been through all the Green Beret stuff and, you know, I was a weapons specialist and that sort of thing.

And my training was really just beginning.

But I went into a gun store, and I was trying to buy some kind of gun.

I don't know, a pistol or something.

I don't remember.

And I couldn't buy it because I wasn't old enough.

I wasn't 21.

You can't make up this stuff.

And during the Vietnam War, you had to be 21 to vote, but you could get drafted at 18, right?

So you can see the little things popping up.

Hello, that's probably our friends from guess where, right?

And so, yeah.

And so you had to be 21 to vote or had to be 21 to buy a pistol, but you could be drafted and sent behind enemy lines.

I mean, there were Americans killed in Iraq and Afghanistan who were 18.

You know, during the wars, I spent two years in Iraq and two in Afghanistan.
