We can only see one part of you.
I think it sounds marvellous.
I've just added it to my list of things to get to and read.
Sure.
I read her as Anna, but Anna.
Oh, sorry, Anna.
Yes, there's only one Anna.
It could be Anna.
So this Anna is, the Anna we meet is the daughter of the head scribe and counsellor to Herod, the Tetrarch Herod Antipas, Antipas, sorry,
who's a ruler in Galilee, so we're talking about AD 14.
And Anna is raised in wealth and sophistication.
She can read Greek and Hebrew and Latin and Aramaic, and her father indulges her desire to read and write and brings her read pens and papyrus at a time where women didn't read and write.
And when she starts to read scriptures for herself,
and she's Jewish in this time, obviously, she discovers all these stories within the scriptures of the matriarchs, and she never heard them from the rabbis when they were preaching in their sermons.
And so she starts to write them all down.
And really, when we meet Anna, the most, you know, first thing we learn about her, she says it to us herself, is that she wants to be a chronicler of lost stories.
So she, throughout the story, we sort of meet her as a young woman.
She's 14 when we first meet her.
And her mother, Hadar, is somebody who wants to live a life that looks good from the outside, I think is the best way to put it.
Her husband has an important role in Galilee.
