Kellogg's announced it is removing synthetic dyes from all of its cereals by the end of this year, a year earlier than expected.
The Michigan-based company says it will use fruit and vegetable-based juices instead to add color to its cereals.
The push to get food companies to remove artificial dyes is a centerpiece of HHS Secretary RFK Jr.'s Make America Healthy Again movement that began in 2025.
The FDA overseas food products and ingredients did not regulate the changes, but appealed to companies to make voluntary changes and take out anything that doesn't have nutritional value first.

Health experts say all dyes have the potential to spark allergic reactions for a small minority of people.
Several dyes, though, have been linked to hyperactivity and sleep or behavioral problems in children.
But no studies have shown dyes actually cause ADHD.
