And they had this screening and then they didn't pay us.

And it was like six months later, I ended up getting legal advice and, you know, and it wasn't a lot of money, but it was kind of like the principle.

It was like, okay, you were using our film.

to make yourselves look good on international women's day.

And then you didn't even pay the female artists that were like responsible for making.

So it just felt like a real slap in the face.

And actually the lawyer said, look, I don't usually suggest this, but in this instance, perhaps doing a, like I did a tweet that was basically like, Hey, has anyone heard from these particular people?

Because we're trying to get paid.

Like it was really this innocent, like, does anyone know how I can contact them?

They're not getting back to us.

And what actually happened in that instance is it was a venue and two of the bookers that booked that venue were actually women that had seen the film.

And they emailed me and they were like, yo, what's happening here?

And I told them and they're like, okay, we're going to email them and say, we're not going to book any further events at their venue unless they pay you.

And they literally paid us within like 10 minutes of going out.

So like, I'm not like, again, I'm not, I'm not a big fan of like, cause there's, there's so many more steps you need to go through to get to that point where you would like, I think potentially publicly saying something like that.

I would be exhausting all options and making sure that all of the modes of communication have been exhausted.

And are they just like literally swerving you?

Do they have financial difficulties?

Can you go, can there be a payment plan?

Like all of those things.
