I'm actually not big on using contracts myself.

Like a lot of the work that I do involves contracts.

So a lot of people will give me contracts, for example, like labels or artists.

I'm not big on actually providing contracts to clients.

I'm big on really clear communication, written communication through either a quoting process or an email process.

Contracts, I think, can be like legally binding.

like this legal jargon words that a lot of people don't even understand.

So instead I'll just break it down in an email to say, this is what you get.

This is what these photos entitle you to how, like what the usage is, how you're able to use them.

If you use them outside of this, it will be additional, like just really like dot point, super clear.

None of this like,

you know, four page thing that has all this legal shit that nobody can like actually read.

So I avoid that a lot of like, there'll be definitely people that disagree with me.

Especially like, for example, photographers in the, in America, you know, America is so litigious.

Like they just always want contracts where I'm like, I'd rather just be really clear and upfront in an email.

I really very rarely have issues.

Cause I just make that communication very clear.

And if there is something that if they've used,

a photo that's outside the usage, again, just really clearly communicating them.

And it doesn't have to be like this big drama.
