There are quite a few limitations around borders.
When you've got less than a 20% deposit, general rule of thumb is you can only have one border.
And that's just so that you're not really trying to boost the amount of lending that you're borrowing up on all of these borders.
And then the max usually is two borders if you've got a 20% deposit.
And there's also income caps as well in terms of what you can use in servicing for borders as well.
Quite a lot, unfortunately.
As you've mentioned, that's coming out of your income.
It's not money that you can tap into.
So although it's usually interest-free as well,
it does quite heavily decrease the amount of lending that you can borrow.
And you've got that trade-off as well in terms of, you know, some people turn around and go, well, shall I pay my student loan off?
We can't necessarily give that advice.
But at the end of the day, you're going, well, you know, where do you want to be in terms of your purchase price, but as well as you're paying off a 0% interest loan as well, so.
Yeah, it's a matter of breaking down.
And I always do it.
You always sort of send an email and there's about three different scenarios.
You're kind of going, what one suits you best and where do you want to be?
But yeah, I mean, it does, unfortunately, hold back your application.
And at the end of the day, it's not like a, you know,
principal and interest mortgage where you can enter in a loan term.
