The phone call would be for about, you know, a good hour, maybe an hour and a half.

But actually the only important part of the call was about 10 minutes.

The rest of it was just either him asking about you, asking about your family,

um telling you about his telling you about his history telling you about something else history and all that lot and they just i don't know just made you feel i suppose listen i'm fucking nearly 50 years old mate but it made you feel special made you feel as if you know you were important to him to a degree that he was taking time out of his day to speak to you and and you know give um

an insight, but yeah, you know, they, they would be, you know, it could be literally talking about the loss or talking about the winner leads or, you know, a loss where we shouldn't have done or, you know, a player, what we're looking to sign or a player is signed in the past.

It just have loads of stories and it just phone you up and have a conversation.

You just think like this fella's day must be so busy yet.

He's taken an hour out of his day to talk to me.

And that's, you know, when you read the stories, like what Adrian said, when you read the stories and,

of the players that he'd speak to regularly.

He'd just phone up and have a conversation with Kelsey.

I resonate with all them because I've had phone calls.

I was privileged enough to be in a position where I had those phone calls with him or the emails or, you know, the text messages and stuff.

And I'm grateful for those.

But, you know, it is for the time when

when I was within and I got those and you know, I hadn't seen him for a while, but every time I saw him, he shook my hand and asked how the family was and everything else.

And it's just, yeah, it's not, I just, I don't think it's really sunk in yet, but it will, it will surely, no doubt.
