It's great to be here.
Thank you for having me.
It's an exciting day.
Well, let me just say that this is an exciting day, because as we celebrate the first year of this administration, we also celebrate foreign policy that has fundamentally changed.
We shifted from Americans thinking about foreign policy in a very abstract way, meetings taking place overseas in conference rooms that didn't affect them,
And today, you can see Americans see that foreign policy affects their daily lives, that the president, under the leadership of Secretary Rubio, every foreign policy decision is a decision that affects U.S.
citizens, making us stronger, safer, more prosperous.
And we've seen that through the course of this entire year, in such a short amount of time, unprecedented achievements.
And as it relates to these achievements, we're really focused on the American and what is best for the American.
Responsible humanitarian assistance that is done in a way that's not wasteful, making sure we're safe at home, expanding vetting as it relates to visas, ensuring that individuals who are here as nationals, immigrants to our country, are not committing crimes, harming American citizens, theft, driving under the influence, assault, that's unnecessary.
And also ensuring that every tariff
every tariff relationship, every tariff partnership is balanced, that it's not disadvantaging the American worker.
These are incredible achievements that have been made throughout the course of a very short amount of time to ensure America's safe, strong, and prosperous, and we're grateful for that.
Well, the priority and the focus is always U.S.
national security.
Let's take Greenland, for instance.
We heard the president speak today in Davos, very important speech.
What's most important is this geography.
It hasn't changed, no.
But what has changed are threats, technology.
