I mean, obviously a lot of dysfunction.
But I suppose we know what a pathway looks like.
Yeah, and again, I have to say, I was feeling the exact same, because he didn't start the tournament well.
It came after a bit of an erratic season with City by his standards, where he did rise to big games, so he was brilliant in the 2-1 win over Arsenal, but consistently wasn't as good as we've known him.
And I think from that, there were fair questions over how much his cruciate injury affected him.
But now it does seem, in terms of Spain's World Cup, at least as regards to getting to the final, it's one of those situations that kind of, it's ensured his timing, sorry, it's ensured that the timing has actually ended up inadvertently maybe...
And no one would want this, obviously, but it's ended up an advantage for Spain in a way it hasn't for Manchester City because suddenly he's maybe at his fittest in two years just as you're coming to the key point at the World Cup.
It's superb.
And he's been imperious, really.
And it's funny because about six months ago, I remember writing about this when Arsenal played...
Manchester City back in September.
Zubimendi had obviously come on in the Euro 2024 final when Rodri went off injured and was brilliant.
And there's obviously a lot of debate about how, you know, whether Zubimendi is the future.
Well, if he is the future, not yet.
Rodri is still the best midfielder in the world.
There's been a lot of talk about France had a bad day.
They didn't show up.
Spain ensured they couldn't show up.
They couldn't get the ball to them.
Some of that comes back to Deschamps' tactical choice.
