It's a funny one, I suppose.

One of the things with a World Cup as well is, especially somebody who obviously is consumed with the club game through the year,

And Anderson happened to take time out of the England camp to go and do a medical for City.

I mean, just on a general point, it does feel a bit of an incongruity where you've got like...

And then it's the same old kind of transfer stuff bubbling away in the background.

Yeah, yeah, completely, completely, yeah.

But I do wonder whether that affects the player as well.

If it's him, Rice, and Bellingham, who clearly kind of now is beginning to clarify his role in this England team, that is a strong midfield as well.

But on that, if you're assessing the field, Argentina are better than I expected.

I have to say, I went into this tournament thinking Argentina were going to do a spay in 2014.

They've been together too long, the team's too stale, Messi sure he can.

I still think they might get into trouble against a better side, like the English debate.

France are ahead of them obviously but France are on the tougher side of the draw right now and then there's the Spain issue but this is the one thing about World Cups as well teams grow into them and especially that's been distorted now as well by how long this tournament is
