Because, you know, well, we don't exactly know if this is true, but a lot of people in football are surmising that because of that, he stayed away from these, especially the US games, which are in liberal heartlands.
Also, yeah, you're right, the attendances have been quite good.
But I think they were always expected to be good regardless of the price because of the American entertainment culture.
But that doesn't mean that... That doesn't justify FIFA pricing tickets in the way they did.
Because essentially, there's no need for them to price them in the way they did.
And I suppose that, yeah, I think...
That's my overriding feeling.
The other part of it is that, especially now as we get set up for the last 32 and the knockout stage is really gearing up, the super World Cup, I call it, in a piece after the group stage.
It was entertaining, but like, if you're not Scottish or one of the teams who went out in kind of fairly agonizing fashion, to what end, really?
It's a lot of filler, basically.
It's a lot of table setting.
I think still
relatively positive about them in a team, but nowhere near what it was before the tournament, nowhere actually much less so than since after the Croatia game.
