And there's, we like this, you know, and sometimes that is not exactly what, I mean, I don't know one successful man who plays by the rules, who's like waiting for his opportunities and looks at the documentation and says, I shouldn't be looking for this until this time.

And

There are no rules.

Make relationships and find your way forward by putting yourself out there and seeing what works.

And also, it's okay to fail.

Those failures are, I mean, you can talk a little bit about this because in Confidence Code, Katty, you talk about how failures are like, in a way, they're unbelievable lessons that stick with you.

Well, I mean, first of all, if you walk into a job and everyone just turns to you and says, you should be doing the birthday cards, they don't know a thing about you.

It's just they're assuming it.

That's not a good fit.

But if you develop into that because you have offered or have taken the opportunity to do those things...

If you like doing those things, some people really like, I tend to like doing that stuff, but you got to do it because you enjoy it, the extra stuff, or you should be doing other extra stuff that you enjoy that's going to get you where you want to go.

So I personally wouldn't take on those roles.

I mean, if they are outside of the job, if it's not what you want to be doing.

Just say no.

Well, I mean, I wouldn't be like, no.

I'd be like, good, I've got, you know, I'm doing this.

How can we do this together?

Or, gosh, I'm trying to think I'm going to be working late on project A and project B. Can we find someone else who can be like the

point person on this.

I just want to make sure that it gets done.
