I mean, I think you do that at every level.

Uh you just try to grow as a person in any business and you know, what won I say this all the time, what won in twenty ten at the Olympics isn't gonna win in twenty fourteen at the Olympics, what won in two thousand and eight?

help funnel isn't gonna win the next year.

You have to g continue to to embrace lifelong learning and you gotta continue to grow.

And a huge part of that is getting hire to be around you to push you to be better.

The relationship I have with the coaches we have, uh uh I've known Biggie for six years, worked for that for months, he's been in my tika bar a number of times.

He's not afraid of ya.

He he's willing to challenge ya.

DJ Smith I worked for with I think for four years, if I'm not mistaken, and you know, tried to help him along the way as he's growing as a coach.

Uh he doesn't mind saying things to you and that'd be the same with the rest of the group.

So uh that's what you're trying to do, is you're trying to get yourself in a situation to continue to grow as a coach, but to hire the best people to make the players the best

they can possibly every one of our players, including our leadership group, knows they can grow as players to be better and that's the challenge for 'em.

Well, that's a hundred percent.

I mean, you know, I just think of all the coaches I've hired over the years and they've gone on to be head coaches in the NHL, and there's a lot of 'em as uh a lot of the reasons you hire 'em is they thought totally different than you.

And you know, when you look at our crew, everybody's different and I think that's real important.

Everything is you're trying to create an environment that allows everybody to challenge the head coach.

And uh you know, i there's lots of job descriptions for a system.

and coach associates coach, your number one job responsibility is to make the head coach better.

And and so how do they do that?
