Right now in Washington, the Kennedy Center is closed.

According to a court filing yesterday from Matt Flocka, the center's executive director, this is only a temporary thing, basically a matter of a couple days.

This all comes against the backdrop, though, of the Trump administration's ongoing renovation at that performing arts center.

Last year, Congress approved $257 million for this effort, but now the renovation is in doubt after President Trump said the project can't move forward unless his name is added onto that building.

Let's bring in ABC's Stephen Portnoy, who's been following all the twists and turns of this case.

Stephen, this all sounds very familiar to me.
