And therefore, we haven't got much reaction in markets.
But it's a big week and a short week because Wall Street's out on Friday for Independence Day.
We have the end of the quarter, the half year mark tomorrow.
And that's been creating some degree of profit taking in what has been a spectacular three months for the chip sector and the AI boom.
We also get Kevin Walsh.
He's speaking on Wednesday in Sintra in Portugal at the ECB conference.
And we also have a US employment report, which is due on Thursday before the July 4th holiday.
Yeah, this week's tech pullback really snowballed overnight, particularly in the area that's been hottest all year in the chip sector, which has almost doubled the chip index on Wall Street, almost doubled this year, and fell back 8% yesterday, mirroring some of the same retreat in South Korea earlier in the day, which had dropped 10%.
Now, things have stabilised overnight to some degree, tentatively.
But inevitably, without an obvious trigger as to why this happened, people look to other things, start soul searching about whether we're in the throes of some sort of bubble burst or whether indeed this is all due to the Federal Reserve's hawkish stance on interest rates.
A lot of kicking of tires will go on around this, but for now, we're steady into the open and waiting results from Micron, the trillion dollar chip stock on Wall Street.
Keir Starmer's resignation on Monday was something of a surprise only in how quickly it happened.
But financial markets were relatively unperturbed by the event because they've long expected Andy Burnham, the possible challenger for likely challenger for a
Starmer's position as new prime minister has been expected for some time.
The immediate focus will be whether he has someone to contest that position or whether he's effectively appointed, whether it's a coronation as people call.
So if it's uncontested and there doesn't appear to be anyone else who has the requisite number of MPs to back him,
then he could be in position within a month.
And that takes a certain amount of uncertainty out of the whole process, which could have gone on during an election campaign for about three months.
So relatively calm for UK markets at the moment, waiting to see who he appoints as finance minister and what his budget policy may be like primarily.

Yeah, the honest appraisal is that the markets are disappointed with the speech because basically there was nothing new.
