In our golf group here in New York, we've got all hockey players, football players, NBA guys, and they're always on me every single day in the chat because I'm the soccer guy, right?

And we're like the weaklings and we're like, you know, all that, right?

So they've come to watch me play in a couple games live, and the first thing they say after the game is, like, holy shit.

That was a lot more physical than we thought.

We can't believe the speeds and the way you guys were hitting each other.

I think also what's unique about soccer is there's different angles to the contact, which makes it really interesting.

And I'm going to compare now the World Cup and how they reffed it to kind of what the NBA was and what it is now.

And I think you could almost say, and correct me if I'm wrong, what the NBA playoffs are like versus what the regular season is like.

So fans want to see across the board a more physical game.

Like, I think they want to see more physical game in the NFL and the NBA and in every single sport, especially in soccer.

And I thought the refs did a pretty good job of like letting guys play.

And I think it was a big factor that Argentina took advantage of.

They knew that that was going to be something that they could take away from other teams.

I mean, the way they abused England physically from a physical perspective, like after every crunching tackle, they just whispered in their ear and yelling in their ear.

Obviously, yesterday, look, didn't go their way, but they wanted to fight to the end, right?

So I think Argentina a little bit known for that, like having that extra little bit of bite.

But it was a great game.

And listen, on the flip side for Argentina and Leo Messi and that group of guys, they were 13 minutes away from stealing that thing.

They're 13 minutes away from getting into penalty shootout.

And Spain had lost the last five of penalty shootouts.
