They don't want to work anymore.
They just want to sit home, get paid, and play video games.

So your family.
So these diners here are legacy in Long Island, the tri-state areas across the East Coast.
And, you know, diners and luncheonettes across the country can relate to this.
But you guys are an intergenerational business, right?
You used to be open 24 hours.
You had the bridge and tunnel crowd coming out from the discos in New York City for your 3 a.m.
disco fries and stuff like that.
But that's all changed, right?
COVID really put a damper on it.
Two reasons why it changed.
Number one is the help.
Nobody wants to work anymore until 6 in the morning, 5 in the morning, 4 in the morning.
That's gone.
That work ethic is gone.
The second reason is there's no more clubs like it used to be back in our days where the people used to go out until 4 or 5 in the morning, have a good time, then go to the diner to eat.
The kids don't go out like they used to.
Well, I was here at 3 in the morning and you were here.
