And the posse has been great on this.
There was a reaction.
The first, you see the Main Street Caucus, which are all the rhino Chamber of Commerce Republicans.
They put out a letter trying to box Mullen in saying, please don't deport anybody else.
Only this limited small population of criminals, which, by the way, is Biden-Obama policy.
And I don't think the president wants to do that.
But then today, down at their big meeting with the House Republicans, the White House, and keep in mind, this is
not President Trump, right?
This is the White House political director, James Blair, gave what I'll call terrible political advice.
He told them, don't talk about mass deportations, as Axios reported.
Here's why it's terrible political advice, is because mass deportations are insanely popular.
Proof of that is the 2024 election, where it was
Trump's central campaign promise, and he won on it.
Now, poll after poll shows that it remains popular.
It's growing in popularity.
But here's the rub.
The people who fund the campaigns, the donors, the major donors, the special interests, and then the consultants and the pollsters who work for them, they don't like mass deportations because they like their cheap labor.
And so you have the split within the party of the top verse, the middle, and the bottom.
And that's what we're fighting against.
