Yeah, I think for us we found there is a lot of shared priorities.
And even when you see very ideological debates in DC, they get quite practical on the ground.
I'll give you one example that seems the most divisive, and that was the migrant crisis.
You know, when we had migrants that arrived in Denver, we had forty thousand migrants in Denver more than any city in the country per capita.
But I would talk to folks on the far left who'd say, Mike, this is crazy.
It is their civil right that every one of these folks should be able to to work.
And then
And I would talk to conservative leaders in the city who would say, This is crazy, Mike.
Those people should have to work.
I'd say, Great, we all actually agree.
The fundamental strategy is here is let's give people the opportunity to work, pay taxes, support the economy.
That's what we did.
It worked very successfully.
They're paying taxes in housing units supporting themselves.
So I think that's one where the debate about how folks arrive at the border can be ideological.
When they're on your doorstep and they don't have food or a place to stay, it gets quite pragmatic.
And I think people
work together quite well in those moments.
Uh, I think it's noise, but it does impact, I think, people's confidence to want to live in cities.
I think what we've really worked hard on is showing that the facts on the ground are absolutely the opposite of that, actually.
