You know, it'll grow 100,000 jobs.
It's a $30 billion investment.
So huge economic opportunity for us.
But linked to that, we're building all of these sites along light rail, existing light rail capacity, both on the north and the west side of the city.
And we'll build housing units at all these sites.
We'll build 20,000 housing units at each along these seven sites.
And so with transit lines, with housing there, and they are in traditionally underinvested parts of the city.
City.
North Denver has been historically African American.
West Denver has been historically Latino.
Both of them underinvested.
So these investments will come disproportionately to places that we haven't invested in before.
But what they'll create is not just seven new amazing places where Denverites gather and jobs for the future.
They'll create a capacity where you could live in one of these locations with housing that's close to light rail and you could easily get to the other six locations to work, to fund, to friends without having to own a
car.
And so it's the way you take a lot of our mid-sized cities that weren't built like a DC or New York with thousands of miles of underground subways and say you move our cities in that direction by building these hubs, these neighborhoods where folks can live, work and play and you connect them.
And that's what helps us grow into the future.
One of the things I love about this question is this is what mayors talk about when you get together is you know, we are all about what is the solution you're delivering.
And so I say there's a moment now in politics where most people look at elected leaders as influencers rather than as entrepreneurs.
I think mayors are actually entrepreneurs.
