But there's quite a few people that are sort of working in this alternate paradigm that are doing some interesting work.
Uh on Twitter, um
This is uh uh not this person's extremely online, but uh Victor Talen's a really good follow uh on on on X and Twitter.
Um been working on this sort of sort of altern alter alternative like uh system called uh HVM that does this like crazy like enumeration of program synthesis really quickly.
There's a couple academics that I respect a lot.
Um Josh Genderbaum at MIT, Melanie Mitchell at the Santa Fe Institute are two folks who've been really deep in this the ARC world.
in the program synthesis world for for many years and have sort of cultivated and stewarded some of the community over the last five years for its working towards new ideas.
So I I really do respect and appreciate those folks for that.
Uh yes.
In fact, I'll let me answer the second one first.
Art is that challenge itself.
So um one the thing that is uh
uh uh somewhat maybe confusing is like we present the puzzles very visually for humans to take, right?
They they look like grids, you like draw them of the pixels.
When these challenges are presented to computers, it's not an actual image processing challenge at all.
It's it's just a 2D list of numbers.
It's a matrix of numbers for that represent the input grid.
It's just zero to nine for the each number represents a color.
And then you get an output matrix for the output.
And your job as a programmer is to write a program that maps the input sequence to the output sequence.
