I was in a weird spot because I was in Seattle and I was like a starter, reliever type, and...
no, just out of the blue, cut up straight for him.
I'm like, kind of like him.
I was like, man, kind of disappointed at the first, but then I realized it's like,
These guys are the best team in baseball.
They traded for me.
I got to go and find, you know, do my thing, find what role I'm going to have.
Right.
So I was like, I didn't know if I was going to be in the rotation.
They called me.
They're like, hey, you're going to be in our bullpen.
We'll find a role for you.
So it took me a while to kind of jump in and understand, OK, am I going to be the mop up guy?
Am I going to be late inning?
And yeah, so that was the hard part.
Like you said the team we had was it didn't take long because I just was able to fit in and be like, okay Here's where I'm gonna do and you know, here we go.
He had a good pulse on how to manage all of us as a group and individually.
