We didn't get this right.
We're going to try and make sure that we work exhaustively on making the right decision of bringing in the right people to get this thing moving in the forward direction.
But also when you have a...
opportunity to say, okay, this is what we want to provide to whoever will take over the front office.
This is what we want to have for you.
You have to understand that there has to be another head coach that has to wow you to oversee Billy Donovan for that head coaching role.
So I think the only thing that really surprised me or more so opened my eyes was Michael Ryan's 1-2
to get this thing right because he's listening to the fans and he understands that the Bulls organization, this logo, this is a global brand, needs to get back to where it was.
And I think he spoke to a lot of Chicagoers with that.
Yeah, Billy has expressed a little bit in terms of him not wanting to move into that front office role.
And of course, things are full of things can change, especially what he's experienced as head coach this past season on and off.
So at the end of the day, with Billy, he's a teacher, right?
And that's how I view all coaches, no matter what level, no matter what part of the world that you're in.
And Billy loves teaching the game of basketball.
He loves to have young guys really develop, as we're seeing with Miles from Zealous, as we're seeing with Josh Giddey.
Just players in general reach untapped potentials that they have for themselves.
And so that's what, for me, my respect for Billy.
for Billy is high because he wants to really get the best out of players.
He empowers players to do that now.
Can he do that in that executive role and put on a new hat?
