If it gets too high, it's not worth it, right?
Because you want to make sure that still with the cap that the Bulls will come into this offseason with at least $60 million in cap space, that you want to divvy that out the right way.
I think the attention needs to be more towards the frontcourt with this group in terms of free agents.
This offseason, we know the history this past season of his team, dealing with injuries to Zach Collins, Jalen Smith, Nick Richards is out as well.
But Collin Sexton is a name that, for me, I want to see back with his team.
Leonard Miller, for sure, and what he's been able to do.
Kendall Gill and I on Bulls pre and post, you know, have a good time breaking down Leonard Miller's highlights.
And people may say, OK, Cam, well, this is towards the end of the season.
This guy is a young guy.
Yeah, it's good for now, but how does he fit into the rotation?
I think he can fit into the rotation for someone that has been yearning for an opportunity to show what he can do in the NBA, and he's proven that.
So looking at Colin Sexton, looking at Leonard Miller, looking at Nick Richards as well because of the front court lack of depth, you need guys in those roles to really hold things down for you off of the bench in a rotational role.
I'm not saying that these guys are starters, but you have to have those bodies in, especially when you're dealing with injuries like the team has this season.
I think experience, David, is for me, is the path that they choose with this Bulls group.
Because when you have the press conference yesterday, like Ryza or Pat, as we spoke on, and you want all of these things, not only for the organization, but for the fans, you have to make sure that you have someone that is in that spot, that has that experience, that has those connections.
And not to say that someone that...
isn't experienced in that GM or EVP role, can't get this done or rely on certain connections.
But you need someone that has been there, that has had success, and that can really jumpstart what this Bulls team, this organization, is looking for.
So I always lean on that.
And, again, it's not to say that a new name can't step in.
