Michael Reisdorf of with the GM if he doesn't want Billy Donovan then that could be something that could be an issue you have to understand when it comes to where the Bulls are and I think with the Bulls new GM and the new regime that will take over for them they have to understand that you want to try and get the best out of whoever will be that head coach and it really lays on Billy Donovan of what he wants to do and that meeting will happen next Monday with the Bulls front office

And if he's going to remain head coach, if he wants to take some time away for himself because of the well-documented personal challenges that he's had with his family, with him losing his father and losing his mother-in-law and his mother-in-law having a procedure that amputated their legs.

So all of those things are in the play.

But to really get to it, David, I think it does in some ways limit who you can really go after if that GM is not concerned or not concerned, but...

I'm curious, Cam, did Michael Reinsdorf surprise you with any of the things he said?

I think the idea that you're limiting the pool of candidates because you said how much you admire Billy and you want him to stick around –

I think we all knew that that was the case.

Yeah, the one thing that's not surprising, Molly, but more so getting kind of the competitive nature from Michael Ryan Zor, is that he was frustrated.

He was frustrated of how things were going.

Obviously, a lot of people feel that move in terms of the dismissal.

of AK and Mark Eversley should have happened a few years ago, which is understandable, especially for a front office that when you listen to the press conference with Michael Reinsdorf of how they weren't in clear communication with Michael Reinsdorf and wasn't able to receive feedback, those are red flags.

And so when you have a guy that wants to get this thing right and how he's telling fans that he understands their frustration, he wants to get this organization back to being a team that competes,

for the playoffs or compete for championships, you really take that into consideration of someone that now has gone through his first hiring of an executive vice president of basketball operations, a general manager, and just takes accountability and says, you know what?

We didn't get this right.

We're going to try and make sure that we work exhaustively on making the right decision of bringing in the right people to get this thing moving in the forward direction.
