To a degree, I feel for a lot of the players because let's face facts.
And I know every team goes through injury.
But the Reds have had key players injured at key moments of the first half of this season.
Emilio Pagan's your closer.
Eli De La Cruz is your most dynamic player.
And, you know, Pagan missed, what, six weeks?
Eli missed four weeks, four and a half weeks, something like that.
To take those kind of players off your roster for an extended period of time on a team that's young like the Reds, they don't have the kind of depth.
And Geno Suarez has not worked out, I think, like the Reds had envisioned.
He's had moments.
He had the moment, of course, a couple of Saturdays ago in Pittsburgh.
I thought maybe that would jumpstart the Reds.
