He can maybe hit.
Will Smith has been out with a neck.
Injury for a couple weeks.
He's going to be out for a couple more weeks.
They had to go find two minor league catchers who they'd had previously just so they had someone who could receive the ball and who knew their pitchers.
And I'm not trying to like gin up sympathy for the Dodgers, like, oh no, poor the Dodgers.
But there's some real concerns here.
It would not surprise me at all if a team like the Cubs, who I think have a better overall roster, or the Phillies, who I don't want to say a better rotation than the Dodgers, because that's not possible.
Have a very
good rotation, uh bounce them out.
It it's there are other things, other teams in the NL that are really competitive here.
And for all the talk about how lame and weak the AL is, there's a lot of good teams in the National League right now.
I like this because sometimes baseball stats can be fun and stupid and not like deep and deeply analytical and meaningful.
Um, but yes, I you as you said it on the air, I can prove we've been talking about this for a couple weeks, right?
The Nationals do not have a single hitter who's over 28 years old, except they have one play to appearance now, which happened the other night in the 11th inning when 37-year-old pitcher Miles Michael came up and laid down a bunt and actually scored a run on it.
