I we don't have to pretend it's a good lineup.
They had to go on a crazy run to get to 88 wins.
That's fantastic.
I don't think they're a good team.
The Blue Jays, I do think, are a good team.
They have the stars.
Obviously, they've got the depth, which I think is super cool.
And, you know, what's the biggest weakness I see on this team right now is what I don't know if Bobachette's gonna play and I'm not sure who's gonna start game three.
And that's not a terrible place to be in right now.
Yeah, as you said, I think the Mariners were the only team that was in the bottom of third in in defense and base starting to get there, which says a whole lot about what they do great, right?
Because that's putting themselves at a huge disadvantage.
And I I don't want to oversell defense as being as important as hitting because it's not or as important as pitching because it's not.
Like it's clearly the, I don't know, special teams of this where it's like the third most important thing.
On the other hand, if you did happen to watch the World Series last year, you might remember how the Yankees lost in the fifth inning.
And those little things can, you know, really get magnified really quickly.
So I I would put it like this.
It's not required to have a great defense to go far in December in um October.
But I would certainly prefer to have one than not have one because all it takes is one mistake at the worst possible time.
And that gets magnified really quickly.
And you're right.
