I'm like, I, this is just too much, you know, and that's not the kind of thing that I enjoy.

And so, because I don't enjoy it, I don't do that to the Mac stock audience.

So if someone signs up for the Mac stock newsletter, they're going to get newsletters when it's important.

They're not going to get overwhelmed with stuff just because I feel like staying in contact.

I do try to be active on Mastodon to the minimal extent that I am.

But, you know, like I said, if I suddenly changed how I did things because I saw somebody else do it and because I thought that's the way I should be doing it, people would question if I were still doing it.

So be true to yourself.

I think that's important, or at least in my perspective, it's important to keep my audience engaged because they know

that when they do reach out to MaxDoc, they're reaching out to me.

They're talking to me.

Even if they use the contact form, they very often start with, hi, Mike, because they know that I'm going to be the one who gets that message.

As long as I am me and I try to be me and I stay true to who I am and what I want MaxDoc to be, I think

that helps keep the audience engaged.

But that common interest and that common thread that holds everything together is ultimately the Apple ecosystem and people wanting to continually learn and learn from each other.

And I think that's how they kind of naturally stay engaged.

You just triggered a thought in my head, but a friend of mine recently counseled me over pizza, actually, of a way that I can incorporate a few ideas of mine into MaxDoc to keep the momentum going.

And it's actually an idea I've had for a while, and I didn't even think of tying it into MaxDoc, but...

thanks to this a little bit of advice i'm actually going to incorporate it into maxdoc as a way to try to keep the community going initially it's going to be my own effort my own thing to put out there and you can tell i'm kind of like beating around the bush here because i'm not ready to announce it but
