Very out of character, Max.

He was actually a flair player and someone who really focused on the fundamentals of the game.

But that day, whatever had happened, there was a streak of violence that was inexplicable.

So, yeah, he shattered my finger on the joint and then below.

So I still can't fully bend my right index finger.

Yes, that's absolutely fair to say.

I would say that if you were to see the hands of hurlers, it would maybe be quite frightful to you if you didn't know the game.

I think you would think that maybe some kind of mutant men and you certainly wouldn't think, oh, I'd like to reproduce with this person.

And you probably think you probably think it might be a result of inbreeding in Ireland or something like that.

You might think, oh, they need to stop.

having sex with each other i think that's something you might think but yeah it's a mixture of field hockey and murder i would say but um how did you wreck your back i have flat feet my feet are flat as pancakes and i was massive into sport when i was younger so i was always playing always playing and this kind of like because you've no arch you don't you can't um take any of the vibrations off it so everything is just bang bang bang

That created tension up into my back and hips and made them quite tight.

And then on top of that, I have some spinal abnormality that I got an MRI when I was younger or not an MRI or an x-ray.

But the doctor told my mother, look, he's not going to be able to play like sport competitively like into his 20s because he's got something with my back.

Because I was always so stiff.

And so even as really young, I'd be broke up after playing like I'd be, you know.

But then my mother didn't tell me that because I was 14 and I was big in sports.

So she didn't want to like ruin those years of playing for me with that hanging over me.
