I think it's done for a head coach because of his age and because –

For most of these teams, the people in the building are not going to be signing up and encouraging to sign Belichick as their coach because he takes all the control and it makes it harder for those guys and he creates walls in the building.

And he's an old school kind of Parcellsian coach, a little bit of a fear-based type of coaching, which Sean Payton is pulling off right now.

We'll see for how long, but I just don't think that's the way of the league right now.

So Dak Prescott moving up five spots at whatever year this is in his career, he went from like 12 to 7 and got almost as many Tier 1 votes this year, I think it was like a dozen, as he'd gotten combined in all of his other years.

I mean, what did we learn about Dak Prescott last year?

I mean, he's a good quarterback.

It's not like he broke through and went to the Super Bowl and now he's got that off of his back.

So that was eye-opening to me and maybe refocused me on something that I had missed, which is just, hey, Prescott healthy for a whole season, especially now with these weapons, is a really good quarterback.

And I think as we look bigger picture,

And if you go back to a long time ago when Jerry Jones, owner of the Cowboys, kind of booted out, divorced Jimmy Johnson, who had built that great team in the 90s, there's a 30-year record here of that team not going to the Super Bowl with good quarterback play.

Tony Romo was a good quarterback, too.

So I think there could be an appreciation for Prescott here as a player in light of whatever the challenges are there in Dallas today.

And also in an era when there's so many young quarterbacks and so much of the

the game is now controlled by the coaches with their scheming, that Prescott is kind of an old school quarterback who is in command of the offense at the line of scrimmage, kind of the way it used to be a little bit more.

And so many of the young guys can't do that.

So I think Dak is appreciated more in these tiers, it appears, than he would be by the public and maybe even by Cowboys fans.
