And so idea colon or whatever, it'll sync back immediately because it's all just plain text.

And then about once a week, I'll bring that stuff over into Obsidian.

I don't pipe it in automatically.

There are like export actions in drafts.

But I think this is one place that curate phase, if we want to eliminate the friction during the capture phase, curate is where we want to add it back.

It's really intentional friction where things really have to resonate in order to bust through that barrier.

But yeah, that's basically it.

It's not too complicated.

It's just if something resonates, I drop a marker and then later I come back to it.

And if it's something that I'm still excited about, I'll bring it over into Obsidian and see where it goes.

Yeah, so Life HQ started as a collection of my workflows.

I do a practical PKM cohort where I talk through a model or framework I call the PKM stack, which really just kind of visualizes how information flows into and out of your PKM system.

and i would argue by the way whether people have never heard of obsidian have no interest in notion like you have a pkm stack that you are currently using for managing the information the ideas the actions your identity reflection those are all like component pieces to uh doing more of what matters right so

Life HQ really is all of the workflows that I built.

And I started off, I just put all the settings and the plugins and things in there, gave it to people and they're like, here you go.

And nobody used it and I don't blame them.

So then it was like, we really need some explanation of how this stuff is put together.

That led me down a rabbit hole, which turned into Life HQ.

There is over 60,000 words of handwritten documentation for all of the workflows that I have used, because I've been all in with Obsidian for over five years now.

It's all broken down into categories.
