That's pretty wild, right?
But then there was other news that hit.
The big one was Jess Lanzillo, the previous D&D vice president at Wizards of the Coast, also left Wizards of the Coast.
And she, I had always heard good things about Jess Lanzillo.
I'd seen some of the interviews that she had talked about.
And a couple of things that people knew is that she understood Dungeons and Dragons and she understood Wizards of the Coast.
She had done apparently some really good work.
I don't, I don't really know if it was good for customers and good for players as much as it was good for the business over on the magic side.
But I had heard that she had churned some things around over on the magic of the gathering side that, that was received positively.
And,
And then she was brought over to lead the Dungeons and Dragons side as the vice president over Dungeons and Dragons.
And again, people I know that had talked to her really enjoyed the conversations and felt like she really had a good head on her shoulders for the direction of the company.
And now she's not there anymore.
And we don't know who's going to be next.
This is like the third vice president of Dungeons and Dragons in like four years or something like that.
It feels like there's been a lot of turn in the executive side of Dungeons and Dragons.
And then along with that, we found out that Hasbro had a 3% layoff.
And one of the people laid off was Todd Kendrick.
Todd Kendrick was the guy who ran all of the videos that are up on YouTube, where he interviewed Chris Perkins and Jeremy Crawford.
He was the interviewer for all of the videos that talked about D&D 2024 and had done so for many years.
